About Us
We fell in love with Sgarbh Lodge and its wonderful Loch views the first time we saw it. We took over the traditional croft house at the end of January 2020 and changed its use back to Bed and Breakfast after it was used by its previous owners as a self catering accommodation.
We left our jobs and moved to the Isle of Skye from Warwickshire with our border collie Finn and two cats Harry and Charlie, and set-up our new vegetarian / vegan bed and breakfast business ready for the start of the 2020 tourist season.
We are both pescatarians, but decided to offer Vegetarian and Vegan breakfasts for our guests, however we welcome those who might just want to reduce their meat intake.
Our aim is to give you an enjoyable and relaxing, yet ethical and environmentally friendly experience on Skye.
We use local, organic products where possible and 100% Recycled Toilet Paper and Ecover laundry and cleaning products where possible. We compost any food waste and have setup our own poly tunnel to try and grow our own fruit, veg, herbs and salads.
