Sgarbh Lodge has uninterrupted views north over the sea and dark skies, allowing the Northern Lights to be seen from the rooms and garden. The aurora is usually photographed on over 100 nights per year in Glendale, making this one of the best places in the UK to photograph the Northern Lights.
Just a ten-minute drive from Sgarbh Lodge, these stunning, sea cliffs are a mecca for wildlife watching, with regularly sightings of minke whales, porpoises and dolphins on a daily basis during the summer months. The cliffs are home to nesting black guillemots, shags, fulmars and kittiwakes.
